Looking For A Network Operating System – Help?

I am looking for a network operating system to buy online, which will enable me to
– set up network security
– maintain a backup system
– provide remote access

    Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition RC2 or the latest Windows Server 2008 Standard. You will not need Small business editions. Another OS you can purchase with a PC is Windows Home Server, I personally recommend this to you, it is easier to set up & you dont have to worry about domains etc…
    If you are looking for a cheap solution download Ubuntu Server, its a Linux Distro but you will need in depth knowledge on this if you wish to use it with any Windows end devices.
