When in the new project window, if I right click on a network computer and check the properties it says the Remote Agent is not installed when it is.
I have checked the firewall exceptions.
When the log on window comes up it does not work, only on the one computer and it is the same window everytime.
I have tried the disc install method as well as the command prompt method (ehis is the one that worked with the functioning computer).
I am using 11d on Windows Server 2003
What happens when the logon window comes up? Have you tried typing in the LOCAL username and password for the workstation instead of a domain account?
I would also temporarily DISABLE your firewalls on each end (workstation and Windows server if you have it enabled).
Also, download the latest update for the remote agent from Symantec’s website.
Is the remote agent service started on the workstation also?`
