The maximum amount of RAM for the ASUS M2N-MX SE Plus is 4GB so the answer is no.
If you choose another MB that supports 8GB then yes you can since you will using a 64bit operating system.
Amunt of RAm depends on the operating system and motherboard
Most high end motherboards support 8GB RAM. However Vista 64bit supports 16Gb RAM!
So if you want 8GB rAM get a mobo that supports that much and a 64bit OS preferably Vista as XP 64bit is unstable.
Hope this helps
It all depends on the motherboard. Desktop MBs in general can pretty much hold more ram than a laptop mb. It also depends on the operating system you use too (32 and 64 bit don’t make much difference) But Vista Home Premium 32 Bit can support more ram than Vista Basic 32 bit.
4GB with the current Bios on that board, but you never know, they might put out a new bios that can support 8GB+
you would need a 64Bit operating system though to take advantage of it.
but i havnt come accross anything yet that will use up more then 2.5GB.
You have a 64bit OS so yes you can have 8gig ram
Yes, since you have vista or higher it will support more than 4gb of ram.
32bit can run up to 4gb ram 64 bit 4 +++
